3D Scan und Reverse Engineering
We use our scanners to capture complex 3D shapes, as found in components hydraulic turbines, and digitise the geometry. Our customers use these services for the following applications:
- Checking the manufacturing accuracy of hydraulic surfaces, e.g. runners (target/actual comparison)
- Determination of material loss due to abrasion
- Digitalisation of the original geometry for subsequent repair work and adjustments
- Reverse engineering as a return of the geometry to CAD in order to be able to check the strength using FEM
- Optimisation of component geometries
- Comparison between components that behave differently in operation in order to find the cause.
Our devices are portable and can be used flexibly on site without the need for major set-ups.
