Runner and component inspection

Runner and component inspection

Turbine components are exposed to high mechanical loads and experience many load cycles, which leads to fatigue of the material. Regular inspections are very important to prevent serious damage (e.g. cracks or even breakdowns) and to ensure operational safety.

What do we offer?

  • Carrying out non-destructive tests on runners and other components
  • Assessment of the test result (PT, MT & visual inspection)
  • Independent assessment on the current condition
  • Recommendations for further operation or revision
  • Identification of potential (hydraulics, strength, etc.)

Your benefit

As a customer, you can rely on our many years of experience in the power plant sector. Our assessment focusses on the operational safety of the plant. However, we are convinced that with the right planning and suitable measures, this is entirely compatible with economic requirements.
