Benno Lötscher
Benno Lötscher, founder and owner of NG Hydro, has many years of experience in the hydro industry. Due to his various professional positions, from the hydraulic design of turbines to the head of an engineering department, he feels at home in the field of tension between hydraulics and mechanics. This applies to the planning of new systems, engineering and also to problem cases on site.
He has solved many challenging problems in this area of conflict in recent years and has been able to provide clarity in disputes as a technical expert. As an engineer with a broad range of expertise, he loves to develop sustainable interdisciplinary solutions with the customer.

Non-destructive testing (PT, MT, UT, VT & RT)
In the field of non-destructive testing, we can call on experts (Level 3) from an accredited testing laboratory (ISO/IEC 17025) on request. This ensures that the latest technologies and procedures are always available.
Grinding technology and welding
For on-site repairs, we work with partners who have many years of experience in grinding technology and the welding of hydropower components.
measurement technology
As measurement technology in the power plant sector covers a very broad spectrum, we cannot fulfil all customer requirements with our own resources. However, we are happy to offer an attractive overall package with our partners.
